Research Brief


The radio over fiber (RoF) technique has employed in order to fill radio dead zone for many years ago. Optical fiber is superior to metaric coaxial cable in terms of bandwidth, propagation loss, weight, and immunity from electromagnetic induction. Our laboratory proposes as following. 1. Optical repeater for next generation terrestrial digital television broadcasting (DTTB). 2. Simultaneous transmission of 10 Gbps OOK signal microwave radio signal in single wavelength. 3. Centralized control for LTE base station in mobile fronthaul.
