Research Brief

The leaky coaxial cable antenna radiates electromagnetic waves to the space along the cable. Since a cable has typically two ports for feeding, simultaneous feeding to each port enables us to use as two antennas. Moreover, two dimesional localization can be realized by measuring a time difference of arraival (TDoA) of receiving signal radiated from a wireless terminal. In this study, higher resolution localization has realized by employing MUSIC algorithm to analyze impulse response of the channel rather than the Fourier transform.
